The ministry has shared several guidelines on its microblogging site X (formerly Twitter) keeping in mind the safety and comfort of children. The instructions are:

Identification Bracelets: All children accompanying their parents must have identification bracelets on their wrists while performing Umrah. If a child is lost then the child can be found by looking at this bracelet. Some basic introductory information can be found on the bracelet.

Avoiding Crowds: Umrah pilgrims who are going to perform Umrah with their children are advised to perform Umrah rituals at places where there is less crowd.

Keeping children clean: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has urged parents to be careful about keeping children clean to ensure their health and safety.

Keeping an eye on children’s diet: Parents are urged to be careful during Umrah so that children can consume healthy and suitable food for their bodies.

Earlier, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah had issued five guidelines for worshipers while visiting the Makkah Grand Mosque.
