Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh joined the G-20 conference on Saturday morning. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted him on his arrival at the conference venue.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina took part in the first phase of the conference discussion ‘One Earth’ at the convention center ‘Bharat Mandapam’. He said, only mutual cooperation can save humanity and the earth. Therefore, global solidarity and coordinated action must be taken to deal with the crisis.

In her speech, Sheikh Hasina emphasized on issues such as protection of humanity, prevention of climate change and eradication of poverty. He said, we need to build such a world system through which the way to alleviate poverty, prevent the adverse effects of climate change and deal with conflicts will be smooth.

Sheikh Hasina said that this conference is being held at a time when the world is facing various challenges like climate change, corona epidemic and sanctions and counter-sanctions.

He said, ‘These challenges make it imperative to adopt a single community approach for the peace, development and common future of mankind.’

World leaders attended the convention center ‘Bharat Mandapam’ specially arranged for the conference. The topic of discussion in the first phase is ‘One Earth’. The topic of discussion in the second phase will be ‘One Family’. This includes lunch arrangements. Apart from this, dinner is available at 8 pm.

The Indian government has organized the summit of G20, an alliance of economically advanced countries, this year by inviting a number of world leaders. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina also stepped on the soil of Delhi on Friday (September 8) afternoon as an invited guest in this conference. He was received with a warm welcome.

Later in the evening, Hasina-Modi held a bilateral meeting at the Indian Prime Minister’s residence. Everyone was interested in this meeting of the top leaders of the two neighboring countries. Such a meeting of two long-tested friendly countries has gained a unique diplomatic dimension.
